“ Refined and timeless. This style is born in 1997, year of my arrival in Marrakech. Inspired by the “Mendil”, a traditional handwoven fabric that the RIF women wear on their hips when they go work in the fields. It’s also the starting point for my bath linen collection. Ancestral know-hows, inspire me. I like to preserve the technique and to bring my aesthetic vision to it.
My designs come to live over the course of my travels and encounters. The human hand fascinates me, i want to see ancestral crafts become sustainable. Today more than ever, consuming “slow products” is a necessity.
