Napkins and placemats AYA in fine linen or cotton adorned with black trimmings. These yarn balls are inspired by traditional djellaba buttons.
“Aya style is one of my first interpretations of traditional Moroccan thread handcraft. Upon my arrival in Marrakech in 1996, I fall in love with the work of the artisans who manipulate thread and needle with such dexterity. These yarn balls are handmade by women who work at home. The idea of transposing them to my linens quickly imposed itself on me. »
